Green khandua pieces are a favorite among consumers. The body of this saree is all Green with unique boxes of motifs. The background is all Green and there are rhombus type structures with white threads . In these beautifully created rhombus type boxes , there are multicolored flowers and butterflies in different colors .The white ,orange and yellow thread work with yellow arrow structured motifs at the boundaries to make the saree looks magical. The rhombus is made with a series of dots. The aanchal of the saree is a light shade of orange and maroon with traditional floral motifs of Khandua. The border is red with white pasapalli motifs and golden lines. All such bold colors make this khandua a great saree.

Khandua Patta Sarees have a pious and religious omen and are often a part of auspicious occasions in Odia Households. Kataki and Manibandha are other names of Khandua Patta Saree. These sarees are from the village of Nuapatna and special Khandia Patta have the texts of the famous play Gita Govinda by Jaydev.
