With the subtle color of green and the gorgeous pink, this saree is extremely beautiful to wear and show off. The khandua piece has a pretty body of flowers. There is a background of green color and the colors complemented with the pink lotus flowers. These flowers of pink shade add a lot more grace. The aanchal of this beautiful and graceful saree is in maroon color. The dark pinkish shade is accompanied with white, violet, green and yellow motifs. The aanchal has three parts. The middle part has rectangle motifs of different colors all over it. The side parts of aanchal have white continuous liner motifs. The linear white motif is adjoined with violet lines with white lines. The color combination of this khandua is very amazing. The border of the saree is the same maroon shade which elevates and structures everything.  

Khandua Saree have a strong relation with Lord Jagannath and the cult culture. Jaydev offered a Khandua Saree with the poem “Gita Govinda ``written on it. These auspicious Khandua sarees are produced in Nuapatna.
