Beige Pattachitra Dupatta
A dupatta is a beautiful piece of handloom which is adorned by women. This beautiful Odisha Handloom pattachitra dupatta has the pattachitra work on it. Pattachitra is the oldest living art form that originated in the 12th century and evolved from the Sanskrit word ‘patta’, meaning cloth, and ‘chitra’, meaning picture. The dupatta has the story of rasleela in wefted with details on the golden dupatta. There is the attractive motif of radha krishna standing together under the shade of a tree. There are two gopis sides by holding two hand fans. Just down the motifs there is a pond in blue color which has little ducklings and lotus floating. Two beautiful peacocks on the sides makes the saree pretty gorgeous. The most colorful part of the dupatta are the birds flying over the green coloured tree motis. Exactly alike motifs are being patterned on the other side.
