She is Art. She is Beauty. She is Grace. She is everything sugar and spice. She is the type of woman who makes you feel a thousand things at a single time. Her smile worth more than a diamond, eyes prettier than the starry night and for that inevitable woman, we have the Maroon Jhoti Chitrakari Handloom Silk Saree.
The gorgeous maroon six yards of grace has the most beautiful ‘Jhoti’ motifs all over it. Jhoti is a traditional white art mostly done in rural areas of Odisha during festivals like Manabasa Gurubara, Rajo, and Marriages. It is made from rice paste and people use sticks or a piece of cloth to create gorgeous designs. The traditional Jhoti Chita designs are mostly used in sarees. This particular saree has striking white Jhoti motifs all over it. The Aanchal of the saree is done very beautifully with Chita and fish motifs. The beautiful Aanchal compliments the look of the whole saree, making it look complete.
This stunning piece of art can be worn in any puja, marriage, and function. Plus, it is highly appropriate to wear it in Manabasa Gurubara.
The Maroon Jhoti Chitrakari Handloom is designed and woven by our beloved contemporary weavers from Nuapatna.
