This Bomkai Silk saree is very adorable and pretty. With the color combination and design , the saree is one of the prettiest collections. The different layers of blue drive us into the deep oceans and waters. The body is of lighter shade of blue with small motifs of the famous and iconic statue of the warrior and horse of the Sun Temple. This little warrior on horse statue is the depiction of the courage and power of the Kalinga (Odisha’s former name). The beautiful saree also has the tints of Odisha’s culture and tradition. The blue border of the saree is carved with traditional motifs and then temple motifs giving a structure to the saree. The aanchal is the most beautiful part of the saree. The work is very intricate and detailed. The linear pattern of the saree’s aanchal is of flowers and jhoti structure. The other half of the aanchal is solid blue enhancing the beautiful sarees.
