Sea Green is one auspicious colors of our tradition. The aanchal is black with the traditional motifs of flowers and animals. There are continuous lines one after one complementing the structure of the saree. The body is all dolled up with colorful motifs of yellowsari, blue and green. With yellow background and these little motifs makes the saree pretty for various occasions and celebrations. There are butterflies, flowers ,ducks, insects, cows and other little motifs. The saree with little works or motifs everywhere on the body make the saree really beautiful. The border is a traditional one with regular maroon motifs.

Khandua marks its origin at Manibandha and Nuapatna of Cuttack, Odisha and is also known as Manibandha.
