Sambalpuri Sarees of Odisha are known as the finest handloom. Sambalpuri fabrics reflect an original style of craft known as Baandha Traditionally, craftsmen created Baandhas with images of flora or fauna or with geometrical patterns.

More recently, new types of Baandha depicting portrait, landscape and flower pods are being designed. Baandha fabric is created using a tie-dye technique. The yarns are tied according to the desired patterns to prevent absorption of dyes, and then dyed.

This gorgeous Red Shree Mantra Sambalpuri Silk Saree is a lovely affair of magnificent textures and motifs which flows through the whole body.The intricacy of work and the motifs make this six yards stand out. The entire saree carries mantras and shree yantras which adds to the elegance of this magnificent piece.

The palla of the saree has detailed motifs and textures all over it.

This particular saree is a great pick for marriage functions, party and puja. Just add some tribal jewelry to bring out the ethnicity of the saree.
