The aanchal or the pallu of the saree has the famous Rasleela weaved in golden and brown thread which gives the contrast to the royal black colour. Rasleela is a dance form that tells the story of Krishna, Radha and the Gopis, and is considered as Krishna's favourite thing to do. It is also known as Krishna Tandava and has been a popular theme in Kathak, Bharatanatyam, Odissi, Manipuri, and Kuchipudi dances.
You can see the gopis dancing around Radha- Krishna and nature's dance in the rhythm of the flute. The body is black with few motifs of gopis and Mor Pankh giving a finish to the royal saree of Pattachitra.
