Fine quality pochampally ikat weave pure cotton fabric produced in the city of Bhoodan Pochampally, Telangana Province. Ikat (Ikkat) is a dyeing technique used to pattern textiles that employs a resist dyeing process similar to tie-dye on either the warp or weft fibers prior to dyeing. Ikat has lovely patterns and are world famous for their extremely beautiful colors, texture and designs. Indian Ikat is always admired by the fashion designers around the world. This absolutely beautiful fabric features traditional geometric patterns in a unique washed design and has a nice old-world charm.
