We get flattered seeing a floral and colorful khandua patta. What about you? Look at this khandua patta which is infused with flowers and colors. The aanchal looks so pleasing with this sweet shade of light blue and bold color of black, red and orange. Together they make a beautiful color combination. Look at the details, you will see lines of blue with black and white boxes in between. There is an elephant-flower-lion in a linear format. The sampler motifs on the aanchal were small flowers and deer and little elephants.. The body is the most colorful part of the saree. The shade is pink with other colorful motifs throughout the body. There are five lines of different motifs. From the right there are colorful flowers and then colorful elephants and flower climbers then a line of deers, then there is a trail of yellow flowers. The sides of the body have a phoda kumbha of blue shade. 

Khandua is a beautiful handloom of odisha with the auspicious touch of Lord Jagannath and the greatness of the poet Jaydev. It is majorly produced in Nuapatna and Manidbandha.
